Today as we celebrate Christmas, we celebrate the Gift the Father gave to the world – His Son. There are so many aspects of who Jesus is and what He brings from the Father for us: salvation, deliverance, hope, peace, blessing, and truth, to name just a few. He radically changes who we are, and our trajectory in life on earth and in eternity. But today, I am reminded of one important work of Christ – He came as the Builder.

We are living in a time where we are seeing so much destruction in lives, families, and culture. The endless battle against evil and heartache can at times feel daunting. But it’s good to remember that the Builder is here, too, and He is at work building the plan of God in our lives, our families, and in our nation. He has a blueprint and He is continually working.

Today, as you celebrate with your family and friends, may hope and joy fill your heart with the radiant reality that the Builder is at work in your life, and in all that concerns you – perhaps in ways that you don’t yet see. He is edifying you as the habitation of God’s glory, and is building through you to establish and expand the Father’s peace and good will in the Earth. You are a key part of His plans.

Jesus is not slack concerning the Father’s promises, or His work with you. He will not stop until the Father’s good will towards you, and through you, is fully complete and manifest. He is a faithful Son who finishes what He begins. He loves you, your family, your community, and your nation. The enemy may seek to destroy, but the Son is building and He never fails.

May the heavenly decree pronounced 2,000 years ago continue to resonate over you today and throughout this coming new year – “Peace on Earth and God’s good will (His delight and pleasure) is towards you.” Words have assignments and the assignment of that heavenly decree is still in operation towards all mankind for whom the Builder came to restore. This includes you.

May you be built up and edified today in the Father’s love for you, and His truth regarding you. May the Spirit of Grace empower you to expand as you move beyond former limitations, moving with wisdom and revelation for the days ahead. May God’s glory shine all around you, and over you, as the Builder continues His masterpiece construction in your life, and through your life.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I See You

It is a time to see the person on the street the way God sees them, and to see our brothers and sisters (natural and spiritual) the way God sees them, too, and value the gift of who God made them to be.
