Year of witness

2021 was a rough year for many, one filled with sickness, loss and death. According to a google analysis, “healing” was the most searched word in 2021, including physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual healing. Without a doubt, the nations need healing.

In the midst of darkness and difficulty, I believe 2022 is going to be a year of witnessing an increased demonstration of God our Healer – personally and culturally. It is a year to witness the power and glory of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

God speaks to us in many ways, including through numbers. In Hebrew, the number 2 has to do with manifest power, testimony (witness), and separation. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is filled with the testimony of God’s power, miracles, healing, deliverance, and provision. The greatest demonstration of God was the cross, resurrection, and ascension of His Son, Jesus – all of which was witnessed. That divine demonstration was not a mere historical act, but a doorway opened for mankind to access, through Christ, all we need for such a time as this.

God’s people are His witnesses. We are witnesses of His truth, love, goodness, and power. In a time when the world is witnessing great darkness and fear, people are desperate for hope. This year we will see an upsurge of Christians breaking free of complacency and fear, and rising with the testimony of God’s hope and love.

Scripture says that out of the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses something is established. I believe that in 2022, we are going to see more good things established as an army of witnesses rises with bold truth and grace on their lips.

In Revelation 11, we read how God gives power to His two witnesses who prophesy the word of the Lord into the earth. As God’s people rise in agreement with Him, we will see fresh demonstrations of miracles, healing, and deliverance in every sphere of culture. It begins with having the word of the Lord in our mouths.

There is new order coming into the earth. While challenges are ahead, so are breakthroughs. The earth will continue to respond as we, the King’s witnesses, testify and prophesy resurrection life and power that defeats the enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

This new order of witnesses means continued fresh movement of the saints. Watch for new positions, new alignments, and new assignments. New assignments means new mantles that carry a fresh anointing for function. To receive these new mantles we must take off the mantle of fear and disappointment and receive new strength from the Lord. We must put on the mind of Christ and mantle of faith. It’s time to saddle up.

Jesus said, “Have faith in God!” To walk with God is to have faith in Him who is able to do above what we could ask or think. Faith is our agreement with Him.

The Lord is establishing His house in a fresh way in 2022. It’s time to go up to the mountain of the Lord and let Him – the King of Heaven and Earth – teach us His ways (Isa. 2:2-3).  He never loses His battles.

Letting Go of the Past

The Father is calling us to look up, come up, and move forward into the radiant destiny He has for us. To move forward involves letting go of the past so we can move fully forward into His plans and purposes for us.

Increasing In Courage & Confidence

“God grant me the courage not to give up what I think is right even though I think it is hopeless.” – Chester W. Nimitz

Today, more than ever, the world is experiencing a great need for encouragement in the midst of fear and adversity. Our Father wants us to have courage and confidence in Him. These two qualities are important keys for succeeding in life and divine purpose.
